A professional painter living in Leicestershire, I have built relationships with Galleries, Dealers, and Arts Consultants to showcase and establish my art.

I look for rhythm and repetition in the world around us. Inspired by Fractal Geometry, I look for cycles and synthesis in the rock formations of a landscape or the patterns of a dancer, I make ink sketches that later evolve into oil paintings, celebrating the magnetism of light, colour and movement. I love the way a painting can freeze a moment, whilst at the same time allow space for my reaction and emotion to be thrust upon it.

I am Polish-British artist based in Rushden, UK. At age of 24 I left Poland and now for 16 years I have been living in England. I found art as my rescue from dark moments of disconnection from self. Now creativity and art are inseparable parts of my identity as well as professional life. Painting and drawing seems to be my natural language and I have a tendency to “think in paint” and “draw in painterly way”. It is a medium that has endless possibilities that make me feel like I am a drop in the ocean of those artistic possibilities. Human form and expression of unposted, true people in daily life is a fascinating subject for me.

My art background was drawing and printmaking when studying for a degree in art education many years ago and I taught art in secondary school for just over two years before leaving to start a family. Approaching retirement I wanted to learn the skills needed to paint successfully in watercolour as this is my favourite medium so began attending classes and workshops a few years ago. The watercolours exhibited have all been painted from artist’s reference photographs due to lockdown restrictions.
