Observational drawing program for Children aged 12-16. Ellie Bea McBrearty will be leading 5 sessions.

Monday 31st July Every Tuesday till the 28th August 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm

Ellie has a BA(Hons) in Painting and Drawing from Swansea Metropolitan University. Ellie has been working as a young artist and has recently taken the job role as Gallery Assistant.

Each Session runs from 1 pm until 3 pm- cost £5 per child.

During these 5 sessions the students will begin with simple shapes and progress to more complex organic forms. Students will be building skill levels in composition through the use of line, contour, negative space, light and shadow, texture, volume, proportion, and perspective. Through both execution and discussion of the work, the students will have the opportunity to gain the ability to use drawing to express their intent of ideas and visions.

The focus will be on developing the following skills:

Application of line, shadow, texture, color, and shading creation of drawings based on observation, invention, and from other sources.
