Exhibitions
In our public gallery in the heart of Corby.
The ANNUAL SUMMER SHOW – 26th June – 27th July 2024
This has now been extended and will now close on Saturday 27th July.
This open to all exhibition kicks off on Wednesday 26th June and the evening reception with refeshments will be at 6pm on Friday 28th June. This event is expected to be very busy with so many people exhibiting their work. A great chance to meet the artists and network with fellow artists.
This is alway a well attented exhibition and there will be many pieces to purchase or just admire.
WELDON ART GROUP – 31st July – 31st August 2024
We welcome the Weldon Art Group to the Rooftop once more with a collection of pieces from many members of this group.
It opens on Wednesday 31st July and the evening reception with refeshments will be at 6pm on Friday 2nd August.

Bring on the Bells – an art installation
It’s been a very long time since the bell in the clock tower in Corby Town Centre have pealed and with no other reason than to celebrate Corby, the start of a new month and summer we have organised for the bell to strike twelve at midday on August 1st.
The Rooftop will be on-hand to anybody that wishes to draw or paint the iconic clock tower and we will have some work on display for all to enjoy.
Join us at from 11.30 on the 1st of August underneath the clock.
We wish to thank Dan at the Corby Willows Shopping Centre for his support in this project.

Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea with freshly brewed tea or coffee served with a selection of tasty homemade cakes, whilst sitting amongst the art.
After tea you can take a guided tour around the gallery and meet some of the artists.

Last Wednesday of every month.
The next event is Wednesday July 31st at 7pm
Hosted by Kontra Roots with resident band The Rants.
Headlined by Elizabeth and Jameson.
Following that the next gig will be August 28th with Cherrington & Ward and guitarist Vic Lennard.
Workshops
We host regular weekly art classes and all-day creative workshops in our two education spaces.
YOUNG CREATORS
Free classes every Saturday
Fun creative classes for young people aged 5 to 14 taught in two sessions by age group. Come and explore painting, drawing, and mixed media in a friendly environment, taught by our own resident artist Daniela Labosova.
Every Saturday
Ages 5 to 9 from 11.30 am – 12.30 pm
Ages 10 to 14 from 1.30 pm – 2.30 pm
These classes are free and all materials are provided

Beginners Drawing Classes
Every Wednesday 1.30 pm – 3 pm
£10 per session, or £50 for 6 sessions (1 session free)
Have you always wanted to learn to draw? Are you struggling to get better at drawing? Often artists appear to have a magical ability to see something, and draw what they see near perfectly! In this specialist drawing class, you can delve into those seemingly magical skills and learn how to really look at a subject, and draw it!
Our resident art tutor, Fanoulla, has been teaching classes for over 20 years, and she’s put together this course for anyone wishing to learn how to draw she will take you from beginner, to improver, to pro! Even if you’ve been drawing for a while, you’ll find useful skills and practical exercises to take your drawing to the next level!
Materials included, however own sketchbook and pencils recommended

LIFE DRAWING EVENING CLASSES
2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
Join our Monday evening life drawing group, tutored by professional artist and experienced teacher, Fanoulla Georgiou.
Learn basic techniques in measuring and drawing the human figure, using a variety of materials.
Fanoulla will take you through basic skills in sketching and drawing the male life model, with exploration of tone, volume and developing a final composition, in this relaxed and very enjoyable class.
It runs every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
