  A collection of striking black and white portraits, the exhibition captures a powerful spectrum of human emotions through the lens of internationally renowned local photographer Nick Freeman. 

The exhibition takes place in #HospiceCareWeek

Acoustic Nights

We have come to the end of our seasonal programme. 

Sadly the The Flat Caps will not be playing at the gallery as planned due to the sad news of Joe McIlvenny’s passing.

Our thoughts are with Joe’s family and friends at this sad time. 

Are you interested in Digital Design and Corby Heritage?

MBD are currently running a Virtual Reality, immersive heritage tour of Corby depicting its growth in Steel Town Tales at the Savoy.  Meanwhile, at the Rooftop Arts, we are holding several workshops for different ages. Using software you can create new lands in Minecraft and Fortnite. Please book your sessions using the QR code. The last event is scheduled for 29th October for    12-16 year olds.

YOUNG CREATORS

Free classes every Saturday

Fun creative classes for young people aged 5 to 14 taught in two sessions. Come and explore painting, drawing, and mixed media in a friendly environment, taught by our own resident artist Joanne Young.

From 11.30 am – 12.30 pm and repeated from 1.30 pm – 2.30 pm

There is a minimum donation of £3 per child per-session to cover materials and costs.

Drawing & Sketching Class

Learn how to draw, sketch and doodle with the guidance of professional artist and tutor, Fanoulla Georgiou.

Beginners Drawing Classes

Every Wednesday 1.30 pm – 3 pm

£10 per session, or £50 for 6 sessions (1 session free)

Have you always wanted to learn to draw? Are you struggling to get better at drawing? Often artists appear to have a magical ability to see something, and draw what they see near perfectly! In this specialist drawing class, you can delve into those seemingly magical skills and learn how to really look at a subject, and draw it!

Our resident art tutor, Fanoulla, has been teaching classes for over 20 years, and she’s put together this course for anyone wishing to learn how to draw she will take you from beginner, to improver, to pro! Even if you’ve been drawing for a while, you’ll find useful skills and practical exercises to take your drawing to the next level!

Materials included, however own sketchbook and pencils recommended

LIFE DRAWING EVENING CLASSES

2nd and 4th Monday of the month.

Join our Monday evening life drawing group, tutored by professional artist and experienced teacher, Fanoulla Georgiou.

Learn basic techniques in measuring and drawing the human figure, using a variety of materials.

Fanoulla will take you through basic skills in sketching and drawing the male life model, with exploration of tone, volume and developing a final composition, in this relaxed and very enjoyable class.

It runs every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
