TEMPORARY CLOSURE TO THE PUBLIC
EFFECTIVE MARCH 18TH
The Rooftop Arts Centre has temporarily closed to the public — effective March 18, to help contain the spread of COVID-19.
The Rooftop’s priority is to protect and support our visitors, artists, staff and volunteers. While we don’t have any confirmed cases connected to the Rooftop, we believe that we must do all that we can to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our community, which at this time calls for us to minimise gatherings while maintaining the cleanest environment possible. We look forward to soon announcing when we’ll be able to welcome our staff and visitors back to the Rooftop.
We will assess the situation on a weekly basis.
All of the current and upcoming exhibitions, events, music nights, and art classes and workshops at the arts centre.

OPEN CALL: Connect Online Exhibition
Our first exhibition follows the theme Connect and we are looking for creative expressions of hope, connection with others, the environment, and ourselves. We invite you to submit artwork, poetry, and new media to an online exhibition that explores the theme of connection, something that we are all missing during this time.
For more information and how to apply follow the link below.
Wednesday 26th February – Saturday 21st March
Wednesday 26th February from 6pm – 8pm
A brand new group exhibition featuring artworks inspired by the format of the humble postcard. Artists of all ages and ability have contributed to this wonderfully diverse show. Featuring painting, drawing, craft, sculpture, mixed media, and more.
All the artists in the exhibition responded to our latest open call for artworks and as always we are really impressed with the creativity and imagination on display. From pieces that hark back to postcards from bygone days to contemporary reinventions of the 6 x 4 format.
This is such a diverse and expressive show and one not to be missed!
